Press Release: Bills Signed: H.R. 5577, H.R. 6899

On Monday, October 4, 2022, the President signed into law:

H.R. 5577, which designates the facility of the United States Postal Service located at 3900 Crown Road Southwest in Atlanta, Georgia, as the John R. Lewis Post Office Building; and

Thank you to Representative Nikema Williams, Senators Warnock and Ossoff, the Georgia delegation, and many others for their leadership.

H.R. 6899, the "Russia and Belarus SDR Exchange Prohibition Act of 2022," which prohibits the Secretary of the Treasury from engaging in transactions involving the exchange of Special Drawing Rights held by Russia or Belarus.
