Travel pool report 2 - landing
Andrew Beatty • Agence France-Presse
February 3, 2017: 04:49 PM

AF1 landed 16:29 at a very sunny West Palm Beach.

During the flight POTUS came back to the press cabin once shortly before takeoff to say hi and then again mid-flight when he spoke off the record for around 20 minutes.

At 16:39 POTUS exited the plane, waved and greeted the First Lady with a kiss at the bottom of the stairs. She was already on the tarmac when we arrived (along with Air Force Gulfstream).

They both walked over to a rope line, where the fairly sizable crowd gave them a warm welcome, one person shouting 'welcome home'.

POTUS said thank you and remarked "I told you I'd win that election."

Also spotted in the tarmac, Wilber Ross and on the plane was Stephen Schwarzman of Blackstone.

At 16:46 the motorcade is now rolling to Mar-a-lago.
