Former Vice President Dan Quayle issued the follow statement today from Indianapolis:
"The agreement reached between Bob Dole and Hyde on July 12 deserves the full support of all Republicans. The Republican Party is committed both to protecting the unborn and to respecting diverse opinions with in our ranks. The draft language announced Friday should be approved in San Diego as written, and I believe it will be.
