Statement of Hillary Clinton on the Tropical Storm Noel

Hillary Clinton released the following statement about the effects of Tropical Storm Noel in the Caribbean:

"As the devastating effects of Tropical Storm Noel continue to unravel, my heart and prayers go out to all the families in Southern Mexico and the islands of the Caribbean who have experienced catastrophic losses.

"Tragedies like this underscore the importance of the need to return to a policy of vigorous engagement with our neighbors in Latin America to provide sustainable-development programs that promote economic opportunity and reduce inequality for the citizens of the region."
