SANTA FE, NM -- New Mexico First Lady Barbara Richardson will attend a memorial service in honor of the nine South Carolina firefighters who died in the line of duty earlier this week.

"It is an honor and privilege for me to be able to pay my respects to these brave heroes and their families," said the First Lady. "They made the ultimate sacrifice to save the lives of others and they will remain in our thoughts and prayers."
